As many of you know, I have spent the last year laboring on my first book:

This project, coming out of years of work writing original posts to accompany the art I’ve created over a lifetime of painting and drawing, has now been launched, and the book is available.

DOUBLE VISION, WAKING DREAMS is hardbound, 160 pages, with 80 images accompanied by my stories about the inspiration and genesis of my work.

You can order directly from me, in which case I keep more of the proceeds, or from Amazon.com, who can offer you free US shipping and a guarantee that the books will arrive by Christmas. Please feel free to choose the option that works best for you!

(Note that if you are outside the US, Amazon.com is currently the best way to purchase, as they have very low international shipping fees, as only a massive company can provide.)

The book retails for only $39.95, which I think is a pretty good deal for the object you will be receiving.

I priced it as affordably as I could, as I meant the book to be not a product but a hug, a gift, an embrace. I don’t expect to make any money on it.

It is a special pleasure to share this here, because if you’ve been following my posts, you’ve been among the first to see my work in this format, in real time as I was producing it.

The book is its own, self-contained piece of work, and I have worked hard crafting it as such. But it does share a lot of the feeling of the posts you have been seeing, featuring my paintings and my words in combination.

Today, I am happy to present these efforts in the form of a real book—beautifully designed, professionally edited and printed—and I hope you will check it out.
